Logo-Graphic Usage

The conditional use logos and graphics displayed below may be used on Web sites and in printed materials without specific written permission under the following conditions:

1. You comply at all times with any version of the Creative Commons License applicable to any copyrightable work released by Los Banos Buffalo Soldiers, comply with the Los Banos Buffalo Soldiers Electronic Documentation License for work of the project released under those terms, and respect the copyright in all other works published by the Promote Charles Young Campaign Project and the Historical Trail Project.
2. You acknowledge the Los Banos Buffalo Soldiers as the originators “In cooperation with the Los Banos Buffalo Soldiers” of the Promote Charles Young Campaign and the Historical Trail Project name and logo and agree not to register or seek to register any trademark including the name or logo in any country. You further agree that you will not acquire rights in any conditional use logo or graphic.
3. There is no confusion created between your use and the Promote Charles Young Campaign Project, the Historical Trail Project or Creative Common License and no implication that the content of the surrounding materials is endorsed by the Los Banos Buffalo Soldiers Association.
4. The use is not detrimental, e.g., harmful or damaging, to the value of any of the Los Banos Buffalo Soldier marks, its brand integrity, reputation or goodwill, such as use in connection with products, services or other content that (a) is vulgar, obscene, or pornographic, (b) includes statements concerning the Promote Charles Young Campaign, the Historical Trail Project or the Los Banos Buffalo Soldiers that are libelous, slanderous or otherwise defamatory, (c) would be considered a criminal offense or would encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense or (d) would create any civil liability.
5. The logo/graphic is not increased in size or modified in any way, except that a decrease in size is permitted as long as the proportions remain the same.
6. This limited license does not include the right to use any conditional use logo/graphic or any other trademark of Los Banos Buffalo Soldiers as a trademark to promote your own products or services. For example, no conditional use logo may be used on any product packaging or documentation, CD-ROM or diskette labels.
7. USE OF ANY CONDITIONAL USE LOGO/GRAPHIC IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE USES PERMITTED BY LOS BANOS BUFFALO SOLDIERS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) ANY WARRANTY OF NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. You agree to indemnify Los Banos Buffalo Soldiers against any legal or other costs created by your use of the logo/graphic.
9. All uses of conditional use logos/stickers also must be in full compliance with any trademark, licensing and related policies as published by Los Banos Buffalo Soldiers and or Creative Commons (and which may be changed from time to time). These policies and the conditions listed above may be changed from time to time without notice. Any changes will be available on the LosBanosBuffaloSoldiers.org Web site. By using the conditional use logos/graphic, you agree to the terms contained herein.
